すっかり秋になりました。秋と言えば行楽シーズン、秋のおでかけにはぜひ観光タクシーをご利用ください！

今回は大人気の観光地である上野の、上野東照宮ぼたん苑に行ってきましたよ！

 

  • 冬と春はぼたん、秋はダリア！上野東照宮ぼたん苑

上野東照宮ぼたん苑は、徳川家康公を御祭神とする上野東照宮の敷地内に、1980年4月、日中友好を記念し開苑しました。

回遊形式の日本庭園に植栽されたぼたんは、現在、春は110品種500株、冬は40品種160株が栽培されています。

また、ぼたんだけでなく、秋には120品種200株のダリア（別名：天竺牡丹）の展示もおこなっていますよ！

 

  • ダリア綾なす秋の園が開催中！

9月19日(土)から11月3日(火)までの期間で、上野東照宮ぼたん苑 特別祭典　ダリア綾なす秋の園が開催されています！

ぼたんの美しい冬と春だけではなく、秋にも上野東照宮ぼたん苑を通じて季節の花を楽しんでほしい、という気持ちから毎年開催されることになった秋のダリア展。

期間中は上野東照宮にて、御朱印にダリアの印を押してもらえたり、ダリアが咲いている時期限定の「ダリア優雅守」を求めることができますよ。

 

  • 和傘とダリアの素敵な景色！

見頃を迎えたダリアはとっても素敵ですよ～！色も形も違う、さまざまなダリアが咲いていました！

今は会期終了直前で、見ごろは過ぎてしまったかもしれません。ですが、苑内では和傘などの小道具を使った、和風で可愛らしいダリアの展示もあり、歩いているだけでとっても楽しいですよ！

中では撮影を楽しんでいる方が多くいました。

また、場所によっては旧寛永寺五重塔と一緒に写真を撮ることもできますよ。

It’s fully autumn now. Autumn means outing season, so please use a sightseeing taxi for your autumn trips! This time, we visited the Ueno Toshogu Peony Garden ([Ueno Toshogu Botan-en]) in Ueno, one of the most popular sightseeing spots!

 

  • Peonies in winter and spring, dahlias in autumn! Ueno Toshogu Peony Garden

Ueno Toshogu Peony Garden opened in April 1980 on the grounds of Ueno Toshogu Shrine, which enshrines Tokugawa Ieyasu, to commemorate Japan-China friendship.
The peonies planted in this stroll-style Japanese garden currently number 500 plants of 110 varieties in spring and 160 plants of 40 varieties in winter.
And it’s not just peonies. In autumn, the garden also exhibits 200 dahlia plants (also known as “Tenjiku botan”) of 120 varieties!

  • The “Dahlia Ayanasu Autumn Garden” is now underway!

From Saturday, September 19 to Tuesday, November 3, the [Ueno Toshogu Peony Garden Special Festival: Dahlia Ayanasu Autumn Garden] is being held!

This autumn dahlia exhibition has become an annual event out of a desire for people to enjoy seasonal flowers at the Ueno Toshogu Peony Garden not only in the beautiful peony seasons of winter and spring, but in autumn as well.

During the event, at Ueno Toshogu Shrine you can have a dahlia stamp added to your goshuin (shrine seal), and you can also get the “Dahlia Yuga-mamori” (Dahlia Elegance Charm), which is available only while the dahlias are in bloom.

 

  • A lovely scene of Japanese parasols and dahlias!

The dahlias in full bloom are absolutely gorgeous! Dahlias of all different colors and shapes were blooming!
The exhibition is just about to end, so the peak bloom may have passed. Even so, the garden has charming Japanese-style dahlia displays using props such as traditional Japanese parasols, and it’s great fun just to walk around!
Many visitors were enjoying taking photos inside.
Depending on the spot, you can also take pictures together with the former Kan’ei-ji Five-Storied Pagoda.
